You may have noticed an ongoing Egyptian influence in many of my jewellery designs. For those who are not familiar with the story, here's a quick note on my connection with Egypt.
In 2016, my husband and I went to Egypt to explore the ancient sites and experience Egypt firsthand (after a lifetime of reading books and watching videos of this magical place). While we were there, we had a wedding ceremony in the Great Pyramid of Giza, an experience of a lifetime!
Over the years I have become more and more fascinated by Egyptian symbols, mythology and history. I feel there is a lot to this place that we cannot begin to explain. I recreate symbols and figures from ancient Egypt in an attempt to connect and create a deeper understanding of this ancient civilisation.
