Entering the World of Journal Covers

Recently I have been enjoying collaborating with Kay Buchanan. Kay works magic with leather, and together we have created Sacred Geometric Journal Covers. So far we have made a very limited series of these, but there is potential for more. 

The centre of these journal covers contain a handcut brass multi-layer medallion, some of which have a gemstone set in the middle. Kay then sets the medallion in leather on the front of her handcarved covers. Every aspect of these creations are handcrafted from start to finish.
