My obsession with creating things with my hands is closely followed by my obsession with plants. Growing up in a little place called Golden Bay in New Zealand, I was surrounded by the most beautiful forest, and it has become a part of who I am. The more plants I am surrounded by, the more I feel at home.
This is the bench at which every piece of Jean Burgers Jewellery is created, right here amidst the plants.
