This Silver Shell Pendant is part of my Organic Forms series focused on celebrating the beauty of nature by casting natural forms in metal. This is a very high quality cast with incredibly fine detail. The shell has been oxidised and then hand polished to a shine on the raised surfaces.
This pendant showcases the helical structural geometry of Conus Shells.
The shell is sliced thinly to show the golden ratio proportion innate in the nested spirals that form the central geometric axis.
The photographs show both sides of the shell, as it can be worn either way around.
This piece is 4.2cm in length and comes on a 45cm sterling silver chain.
