These golden mean calipers are 120mm long, and measure lengths from 25mm to 190mm.

The golden mean has been used in art and architecture for thousands of years. It is frequently found in nature, in the proportions of the human face, in the spiral patterns of leaves and flowers, it is a basic universal mathematical constant.
It is also known as The Golden Ratio, Phi, and The Divine Proportion.
The Kwila wood ranges in colour from a deep red to light brown to golden honey colour, each case is a beautifully unique creation.
The points of these calipers are rounded, so are best for using in the design stage. However I do sometimes use them to lightly mark directly onto the metal as well.
