Seshat ~ Feminine Neter(Divine Nature Aspect) of Sacred Geometry, Writing and Creation. Thoth is the keeper of the Patterns of Life, Seshat uses those Patterns to create form.
This pendant is one of a series of unique works I created depicting Egyptian Neters.
I handcut these four sterling silver and oxidised sterling silver layers by hand using a piercing saw and riveted them together. The central layer has an incredibly detailed handcut depiction of Seshat with a lotus. I set a beautiful piece of Malachite into the pendant, and hung a small handcut ankh detail on the back of the chain. I acquired the Malachite cabochon personally from stone carver Sadat Awyan in Cairo during my recent Egyptian adventure.
This piece is 5cm x 3.8cm, and comes on a 45cm sterling silver chain.
