Design: The Metatron's Cube is a Sacred Geometric diagram consisting of 13 circles with lines radiating out from the centre of each circle to the centres of all the other circles.
It holds within it both the Flower of Life (a powerful symbol containing the patterns of creation) and the Platonic Solids (Star Tetrahedron, Hexagon, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, and Icosahedron). These Platonic Solids are the building blocks of the universe and represent the five elements from which everything is made: fire, water, earth, air and aether. Therefore the Metatron's Cube is a universal Symbol of the interconnected nature of all things.
This bracelet is part of a series of unique works I created depicting variations of the Metatron's Cube.
I handcut three layers of sterling silver so that when put together, they form the Metatron's Cube. I cut them by hand using a tiny sawblade, and riveted them together with 9ct gold rivets.
In the very centre of the piece I set a beautiful red garnet cabochon.
