Moldavite: These Moldavite cabochons are guaranteed to be natural, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Moldavite is a rare Tektite/Impact-glass created by a meteor 15 million years ago, and is only found in the Czech Republic.
Design: This pendant is based on a hypotrochoid pattern made from rotating Phi spirals. It represents a top down view of the centrifugal divergence of a magnetic field torus.
I handcut the design out of sterling silver and riveted it to a backing plate of oxidised solid sterling silver using handmade sterling silver rivets. In the center of the grid I set a beautiful rosecut moldavite cabochon. I cut all of my designs by hand using a tiny sawblade (no casting or lasercutting!)
