Anubis ~ Neter (Divine Nature Aspect) of the Dead, guardian and protector of the Spirit in the Underworld.
He is depicted in the form of a Jackal.
This pendant is one of a series of unique works I created depicting Egyptian Neters.
I handcut these sterling silver and oxidised sterling silver layers by hand using a piercing saw and riveted them together with sterling silver rivets. A beautiful rosecut rainbow moonstone is set above Anubis' head.
