Aso known as New Zealand greenstone, it is highly valued for it's spiritual significance and protective qualities. It is believed to carry mana (spiritual power) and is often gifted to symbolise love, strength, and connection between people. Pounamu is also thought to provide protection to the wearer, acting as a guardian throughout life's journey.
